Metallica’s “Hero of the Day” Music Video Revealed

A hero of the day is a person who is praised for their bravery or outstanding achievements, particularly one recognized for their actions on a specific day. Today, Metallica shared a remastered version of their 1996 song “Hero of the Day,” which will be included in a limited edition reissue of their sixth album Load due out on June 13. The deluxe release will contain 301 tracks, including demos, early mixes, B-sides and rarities. Check out the lyric video for the track below. The music video was directed by Anton Corbijn and features a drug-addled youth watching his television, with every channel featuring Metallica in some way.
